The Miami Dolphins are coming off a heartbreaking end to the season.
They weren’t particularly healthy or efficient late in the year, and they couldn’t overtake the eventual Super Bowl champions in Kansas City’s blistering cold.
With that in mind, Mike McDaniel and company continue to find ways to maximize their capital.
They already have one of the best offenses in the game, but all great things could get even better.
That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see that they’re keeping tabs on Odell Beckham Jr.
And, according to Dolphins beat writer Barry Jackson, the interest is mutual.
He’s one of many free agents who have visited the organization as of late, and Jackson believes the team might be trying to make the money work to get the former New York Giants star to South Florida.
Many FAs who visited Dolphins haven’t signed with them (yet): Beckham, Haynes, Chosen, Jenkins. Dolphins have specific vision of what they want to spend on players. Perhaps $$ visions of Odell/Fins will align at some point. Who knows? It will play out. Mutual interest remains.

Needless to say, OBJ is no longer the player he used to be, and he’ll always come with an injury risk.
Then again, the Dolphins already have the best one-two wide receiver punch in the game with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and having him as the third option would be great for them.
They don’t need him to be the same OBJ he was back in the day, but if he can give them something, we could be talking about one of the greatest passing games in the history of the game.
Of course, some might argue that the Dolphins would be better off spending that money on their defense, but you just have to take a chance on these kinds of players when they’re available.
