The Dallas Cowboys have repeatedly failed to make a statement against winning teams.
They have the perfect opportunity to turn that narrative around on Sunday.
The 7-1 Philadelphia Eagles have the best record in the league, and they’re favored to beat the Cowboys at home in this divisional rivalry.
However, NFL analyst Craig Carton believes the Cowboys will take care of business against the Eagles.
In the latest edition of his show, Carton pointed out that Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is 8-3 in his career against the Eagles, and he believes the Cowboys will beat them “easily” this time around (via The Carton Show).
“I’m all over the Dallas Cowboys going into Philly and beating the Eagles handily. I don’t even think it’s close.”

The Eagles’ only loss came at the hands of the New York Jets, which means the Cowboys have a blueprint to try and replicate if they want to emerge victorious.
Also, they can take a look at what the Washington Commanders have done against the Eagles twice this season, as they’ve scored a combined 62 points vs. Nick Sirianni’s team.
Jalen Hurts was limping his way down the field in the Eagles’ latest victory, and he’s clearly limited with a left knee injury.
Then again, the Eagles were still able to put up 38 points with Hurts on one leg, and we already know how strong their defensive front can be.
Divisional games are always a toss-up, so, on paper, it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Cowboys leaving Lincoln Financial Field with a win.
But they’ll have to be almost perfect to fulfill Carton’s prophecy of taking down the team with the best record in the NFL.
