The Chicago Bears should be much better next season.
Adding a potential generational talent at quarterback like Caleb Williams, on top of a revamped wide receiving corps, a solid defense, and another top-10 selection, is going to do wonders for this team.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton believes people shouldn’t sleep on this team.
Talking on “The Carton Show,” he claimed that he could understand why the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers had higher odds of winning the NFC North Division right now, as they both went far in the playoffs.
“If you don’t think the Chicago Bears are going to be in play to win the division this year, then get your eyes checked.”

Then again, that doesn’t mean the Bears may not be a player out of the NFC North as well.
This makes sense, as the Lions will have all of their key guys returning, and they’re still young and hungry.
The Packers are also keeping their core together and have gotten better in the offseason, and they’ll have another season of experience under their belts.
But the Bears cannot be overlooked.
If things go well, we could be looking at one of the most competitive divisions in the game for years to come.
To say that the Bears have had their fair share of struggles could be a significant understatement.
They’ve never had an elite quarterback in franchise history, and Williams will look to put an end to that infamous record.
Even if he’s not good right out of the gate and needs some time to develop, we could still be looking at a much improved Bears team.
