The Philadelphia Phillies should be looking to do whatever is necessary to get back to the World Series.
Two seasons ago, they won the NL pennant before making the NLCS in 2023.
But, their roster was not good enough for another return to the Fall Classic.
So, Phillies executive Dave Dombrowski should be looking to add a few impact players this offseason.
Especially with what the Dodgers have done.
Los Angeles has made themselves the heavy favorites to be World Series champions with their offseason moves.
Spending over $1 billion on players this offseason will usually do that.
But, all the Phillies can focus on is improving their team, and that starts with their pitching rotation.
According to MLB Network Radio, Ryan Spilborghs thinks the Phillies should sign Blake Snell.

The reigning NL Cy Young winner is set for a huge payday.
But, he could help take the Phillies over the top.
The Phillies have already signed Aaron Nola to a contract extension this offseason.
Adding Snell would make the Phillies rotation one of the best in baseball.
Spilborghs also mentioned that Snell on the Phillies could put them over the top.
The problem with Snell going to the Phillies is that they are already projected to be over the luxury tax.
Adding Snell would only make things much more difficult.
Over the past two seasons, the Phillies have made deep playoff runs via the Wild Card.
Signing Snell could maybe even be enough to help the Phillies take the NL East from the Atlanta Braves.
