The start of the 2023 NFL Season was exciting for the Indianapolis Colts.
Armed with Anthony Richardson under center, things were slated to be very different for this team that had struggled to gain traction at the quarterback position in recent seasons.
Richardson started the year as the prince that was promised, showcasing his arm talent and his rushing abilities.
However, things came crashing down rather quickly, as he suffered a concussion in Week 3 and had a season-ending shoulder surgery the following week.
This was a devastating blow to the Colts, especially since Richardson looked promising in his first few games.
However, the 2024 season is a great opportunity for Richardson to have a comeback year, one that could result in great things for the Colts
He recently spoke with reporter Stephen Holder, highlighting what next year might look like for this team.
“If I know the offense inside and out… then I think we’re going to be unstoppable,” Richardson said.
NEW: QB Anthony Richardson is back in OTAs after his season-ending injury, setting high expectations for himself in Year 2.

Richardson’s health could be a determining factor in the Colts’ playoff chances in 2024.
The team has built a solid roster around him, but the best ability in the NFL is availability.
Consistency is key for any offense to build momentum, and the Colts hope he can be their starter for the entire season.
If not, the Colts could struggle to gain traction in the AFC South, especially with the Houston Texans looking as dominant as they did in C.J. Stroud’s rookie year.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are also on an upswing, which could result in a tight, three-horse race for the division title if these teams remain mostly healthy.
