The Washington Commanders are slated to look a lot different in 2024 than they have in prior seasons.
The front office has made several moves to try and enhance this team, hoping they can be a contender in the NFC.
While they have made a few key signings, such as adding veteran running back Austin Ekeler, nothing has been as significant as their draft selection of Jayden Daniels.
Daniels was looked at as one of the best quarterback prospects in the draft, and if his dual-threat nature comes alive in the NFL, the Commanders might just find the success they were looking for.
Ekeler recently sat down with Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network to talk about his new team, when asked about Daniels, he had nothing but positive things to say.
He confidently said, “We’ve got a stud in Jayden Daniels.”

Ekeler has played with several great quarterbacks throughout his tenure in the NFL, including Philip Rivers and Justin Herbert.
He has seen the fruit of an organization having a quarterback they can trust and hopes the same for the Commanders moving forward.
For a team that has struggled to find consistency in recent seasons, adding a player like Daniels could be a true game-changer for them.
Rookies can certainly struggle in their first season if they don’t have the right tools around them, but all signs point to the Commanders trusting him, knowing he has what it takes to not only lead this offense, but lead them at a high level.
