The Chicago Bears finally have a quarterback.
Everybody expects Caleb Williams to be the next big thing in the league, and he’s one of the most complete and promising quarterback prospects we’ve ever seen.
Nonetheless, all the buzz and hype around him also came with some concerns.
He’s always handled himself like a big personality, and that has often rubbed people the wrong way.
Notably, that includes one of his new teammates.
Earlier in the offseason, CB Jaylon Johnson called him out for having a “Hollywood” personality.
Fortunately for the organization, Johnson recently admitted that he reached out to Williams to clear the air on those comments, talking about their desire to win and just putting that in the rearview mirror (via 670 The Score and JPAFootball).

Williams has drawn as much mockery as praise.
He’s the first true Gen-Z representative in the league, and while there’s absolutely nothing wrong with him painting his nails or wearing lip gloss, his demeanor has led some people to be worried about how he could deal with criticism, fame, and accountability.
At the end of the day, Williams — as well as any other player — can do whatever he wants with his life as long as it doesn’t interfere with his performance on the field.
Also, all stars must have a bit of an ego to survive in this hostile environment.
He just has to back it up when he takes the field, and if he wins, no one will talk about anything else.
