There is almost zero doubt left about what the Chicago Bears will do with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Bears dealt Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers, paving the way for them to select USC’s Caleb Williams first overall.
Chicago played coy when the offseason officially began, but the franchise appears ready to reset itself at quarterback with Williams.
The team also signaled their plans by revamping the offense, signing D’Andre Swift in free agency, and trading for Keenan Allen to pair with DJ Moore in their wide receiver room.
Williams will walk into one of the best offensive situations a rookie could ask for, but it appears that Chicago might not be done adding weapons.
The Bears are reportedly set to host an official visit for Georgia tight end Brock Bowers via Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda.com
“I’m told Brock Bowers has an official 30 visit lined up with the ChicagoBears,” Pauline reported.

Bowers was the best tight end in college the past two seasons and will certainly have his name called on Day 1 of the draft.
Besides the No. 1 pick, Chicago also owns the No. 9 overall pick and could take Bowers at that spot.
It’s hard to find the perfect landing spot for Bowers because tight end isn’t generally considered a premium position, but there’s no denying his offensive talent.
The Bears already have a starting tight end in Cole Kmet, though adding more weapons like Bowers should only help Williams’ development at the professional level.
There are a number of directions Chicago could go in with their second first-round pick, and Bowers appears to be in the mix.
