The Cincinnati Bengals have made a key decision about two crucial players, even though they’re not as popular or well-known as others.
The team announced they have issued tenders to long-snapper Cal Adomitis and backup quarterback Jake Browning, which means they will now retain their exclusive rights for the upcoming campaign.

Now, they have the option to either sign the tender or a long-term deal with the organization.
Notably, this wasn’t much of a surprise.
Adomitis has been the Bengals’ primary long-snapper for the past couple of seasons.
Browning, on the other hand, did an outstanding job when he was forced to take the reins of the offense.
Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury, and Browning was one of the most pleasant surprises of the season.
A former Washington star and an undrafted free agent with a past with the Minnesota Vikings back in 2019, he had to wait until 2023 to throw his very first pass in the regular season.
Last season, he made nine appearances (seven starts) for Zac Taylor’s team.
Browning completed 70% of his passes with a 98.4 passer rating, 1,936 yards, 12 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, leading the team to a 4-3 record.
He’s most likely going to hold onto the QB2 spot for at least another season before becoming an unrestricted free agent in the following offseason.
Needless to say, the team fully expects Burrow to be back to full strength for the start of the season, so he might not get much of a chance to play, but the Bengals can’t afford to let him walk away for free.
