Christian McCaffrey is viewed as one of the NFL’s best skill-position players.
He was well-recognized as a member of the Carolina Panthers, but due to the overall success of the San Francisco 49ers, McCaffrey’s skill and value to his team have gotten special notice all season.
McCaffrey just won the Offensive Player of the Year Award, an indication of how impactful he is to his team.
He not only has the respect and admiration of those who cast votes for this award, but it is clear that his peers appreciate what he does and brings to the game as well.
Bijan Robinson recently spoke with a reporter about McCaffrey in a video shared by the 49ers on NBCS.
When asked about McCaffrey’s special abilities, Robinson responded, “He covers ground super fast,” adding “He is very explosive, he’ll put his head down when he has to.”

McCaffrey is not only good at running the football, but he is also a valued pass-catcher.
At any time, Brock Purdy can feel comfortable about dumping off the ball to McCaffrey, knowing the sure-handed back is going to make something happen with the ball in his hands.
This makes him an extra special player, but it also makes him difficult to stop.
If opposing defenses only plan to stop the rushing game, he can burn them with his receiving abilities.
He has greatly helped Brock Purdy get his game to the next level, as he is such a threat on offense that teams will give Purdy extra time to throw after neutralizing McCaffrey in either the run or passing game.
