After the New England Patriots parted ways with legendary head coach Bill Belichick after 24 seasons, it was unclear what the future would hold for the future Hall of Famer, as many believed he would quickly secure one of the coaching vacancies in the league in order to continue his coaching career.
However, even though Belichick interviewed for a few job openings, namely the Washington Commanders and Atlanta Falcons, he wasn’t able to land another job, which has left him in limbo for potentially the next year or so.
In the meantime, Belichick may be starting to have a little fun while being unemployed, as he recently made a surprise appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” where he made a stunning admission for someone who has been coaching as long as he has.
Apparently, Belichick, even though he’s been coaching for a long time and famously puts in long hours, said he hasn’t had a cup of coffee in his life.
“I’ve never had a cup of coffee in my life,” Belichick said.

It’s pretty incredible that a head coach as successful as he is hasn’t had a cup of coffee during his life, as most people who are workaholics on his level live and die by having coffee at the ready at all times.
Despite not depending on coffee to remain conscious and sharp during his coaching career, many believe Belichick could be the best to ever do it and will look to continue his coaching career at some point down the road when other opportunities present themselves.
