The Buffalo Bills received another big blow because of injuries, this time to their offense.
On top of the notable absences they have on the defensive side of the field, it now seems like they could be without TE Dawson Knox for the foreseeable future.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that Knox, who was set to miss Thursday night’s game vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a wrist injury that requires surgery, will most likely be placed on the Injured Reserve (IR) list.
#Bills standout TE Dawson Knox, out tonight with a wrist injury that requires surgery, is likely to be placed on Injured Reserve, source says. That would knock him out four games.

That means Knox is going to miss at least the next four games, although HC Sean McDermott had already said that he was going to be out indefinitely.
The five-year player had suffered the injury in their Week 5 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He made the trip back from London and suited up to play vs. the New York Giants, then did the same vs. the New England Patriots, even despite being listed on the injury report.
The 26-year-old was coming off the best season of his career, but he hadn’t been able to be as impactful as a pass-catcher this season with the surge of first-round pick Dalton Kincaid.
Despite playing most of the snaps, he’s caught just 15 passes for 102 yards and a score.
Now, the rookie TE will look to prove that he can pick up the slack and fill in for Knox, which could ultimately lead to a more decreased role once he’s able to come back at some point in the season.
