The rise of social media can be positive at times, but it also has plenty of negative aspects.
Social media is a massive part of sports, as has been evidenced over the past several years.
This is a way for athletes and public figures to interact with their fans, for good or for bad.
Some of the top prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft have used social media as a way to indicate what team they would like to go to, causing speculation and excitement around certain fanbases.
Other prospects seem excited to make it to the league, not having a strong preference on which team they go to.
Bo Nix made that abundantly clear in a recent conversion on “NFL Total Access” on the NFL Network.
“I feel like I’m prepared to go wherever. A team wants me, and I’m excited to go make the most of it,” Nix said.

Nix played well during his time at Oregon, and at one point, he was in talks to win the Heisman Trophy.
While this might indicate to some that he would be a highly-touted prospect in this year’s class, Nix isn’t commonly viewed as one of the best of the bunch.
He is often ranked as the fourth, fifth, or sixth-best QB in the class, behind the likes of Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, J.J. McCarthy, and Michael Penix Jr.
While his ranking might not be the highest in the public eye, Nix’s attitude could land him a starting role on an NFL roster, hoping to prove his doubters wrong.
