The 2023 NFL Season is officially over.
It is the offseason for every team in the league, including the most recent champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Preparation is now beginning for the 2024 campaign, with the NFL Draft just around the corner.
This is the next big event for the NFL, and it has seemingly been what every football fan has talked about since the season concluded.
The draft is a game-changer on many levels.
For the prospective players, this is a chance for them to not only realize their professional dreams, but a chance for them to potentially make more money than their family has ever seen.
For their prospective teams, especially those near the top of the draft board, the draft represents an opportunity to start fresh with young quarterbacks.
While the draft is always exciting and highly anticipated, this year’s festivities are met with even more fanfare.
There are several marquee quarterback prospects at the top of the board, including Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy.
McCarthy’s value is seemingly scattered depending on what analyst you listen to, but has risen lately, especially in the eyes of CBS’ Brady Quinn, a former first-round QB.
“To me, he’s going to end up being a top 10 pick when it’s all said and done,” said Quinn. “I think teams are going to love his ability to create and his ability to take off and run, too,” Quinn said.
Quinn is under the impression that McCarthy will make a splash in the NFL.
He was a national champion at Michigan, so he has already proven to win at a high level.
Can he find the same amount of success in the NFL, a league that will test his abilities even further?
