The Atlanta Braves are playing for their postseason lives heading into Game 4 of the NLDS.
They trail the Philadelphia Phillies, 2-1, and must win back-to-back games to advance.
Atlanta has been lauded all season for their legendary offense.
They hit 307 home runs during the regular season which tied the 2019 Minnesota Twins for the most of all time.
Yet, that legendary offense has not shown up in the playoffs.
Atlanta has scored seven runs in the three games of this series.
If the offense is not going to wake up that means the pitching staff must.
According to Bally Sports: Braves, they are turning to ace Spencer Strider to keep their season alive on Thursday.
Season on the line.

Strider pitched well in Game 1 of this series, going seven innings and allowing only one earned run.
He will need to be just as good in Game 4 to pull off the victory.
The Phillies seem to be clicking on all cylinders right now.
Plus, playing in front of their home fans seems to give them an added edge.
There is not a better playoff atmosphere in baseball than the one at Citizens Bank Park.
Strider will have to start strong and keep the crowd out of the game.
Last season in a similar situation, Strider gave up five earned runs in 2.1 innings in the NLDS.
He is hoping to show that he can be a big-game pitcher and can come through staring down the barrel of elimination.
There is nothing better than playoff baseball and Thursday night should be a game for the ages.
