The 2023 NFL season is almost over and the New York Jets have to be relieved considering the year they’ve had.
The Jets came into the year as one of the most talked about and hyped teams in the league, but all of that excitement and optimism was almost immediately erased once Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles.
Since Rodgers’ injury in Week 1, New York has been an absolute mess and missed the postseason as a result.
It’s quite the 180 for fans who were hoping to get back in the playoffs, though they did get to see the return of Breece Hall.
Hall was having a great rookie season in 2022 before he tore his ACL, but he was able to rehab and make it in time for Week 1.
Hall missed the cut for the 2024 Pro Bowl and he had a strong message after the roster announcements.
“Telling yall now 2024: I will be a Top RB I Will be in the Pro Bowl I Will be an All-Pro And it will continue years after that,” Hall tweeted.

It took a few weeks for Hall to get reacclimated and assume a full workload, but once he did he looked like his old self.
Despite playing behind one of the worst offensive lines and with subpar quarterbacks, Hall still managed to record eight total touchdowns during the year.
The most important thing, however, is that Hall looked 100 percent healthy in his starts which bodes well for the goals he set for himself.
Hall has the talent to be the best running back in the league, so it’ll be exciting to see what a motivated version of him looks like.
