During the pre-draft process, everyone from the actual prospects to coaches to family are interviewed in an effort to give fans a glimpse into who a player is.
LSU head coach Brian Kelly was asked about the type of player that his former quarterback in Jayden Daniels is, in an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio:
“This isn’t somebody that has reached his full potential. He is only going to get better,” Kelly said about his former Heisman winner in the interview.

Kelly also would mention that when the team that drafts Daniels adds more nuances and layers to their offense with him in it, he will be able to show off all of his capabilities.
Remember, this is a player that was in most respects the best player in the country a year ago.
He finished in the top-five among qualified starters in almost every major statistical passing category, including passing yards and QBR.
He also rushed for over 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground.
Other than maybe Caleb Williams, there isn’t a more complete quarterback in this draft class.
But what’s so mind-boggling is what Kelly said.
He hasn’t even reached his full potential yet, which should frighten some defensive coordinators in the very near future.
Daniels has the feeling of a player who has the ability to hoist everyone else around him up on his shoulders.
So, imagine if he went to a team like Minnesota or Las Vegas, who both have great weapons.
In any case, he appears to be the real deal and the fan base that gets him should welcome him with open arms.
