The Broncos had a mediocre offense last season and are now in the midst of an overhaul at multiple positions, with quarterback Russell Wilson now in Pittsburgh and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy in Cleveland.
One of the only remaining pillars on offense is running back Javonte Williams, who returned from a torn ACL last season to post 774 yards and three touchdowns on just 3.6 yards per carry.
Williams will be heading into a contract year and thus, Denver could be focusing on the position in the draft, as according to Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette, Denver has a good amount of interest in Tennessee running back Jaylen Wright.
Word is the #Broncos have a good amount of interest in Tennessee running back Jaylen Wright, who rushed for 1,013 yards last season for the Vols. His stock is considered to be rising and he could be a Day 2 selection. There’s a good chance Denver takes a running back in the draft

Tomasson added there’s a good chance Denver drafts a running back at some point and that Wright’s stock is considered to be rising to a possible Day 2 selection.
This upcoming running back class is not a strong one, as rumors have led us to believe there’s almost no chance of a running back going in the first round, with even the second round seeming high for most of the available prospects.
Wright ran for 1,013 yards with the Volunteers last season on a gaudy 7.4 yards per carry, which was a strong response to the 875 yards and 10 touchdowns he put up as a sophomore.
Wright ran an eye-popping 4.38 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine at 210 pounds and would provide a nice injection of speed to an offense sorely in need of it.
