The Denver Broncos have a new quarterback, but they now have to appease his best target.
While Bo Nix has drawn rave reviews at the team’s minicamp, Courtland Sutton is still nowhere to be found.
According to a report by Broncos beat writer Mike Klis (via JPA Football), Sutton continues to work out on his own in Florida while the rest of the team practices in the facility.

Sutton is going through a contract dispute with the organization, and he wants to get a lucrative contract extension.
The talented wide receiver decided to skip the team’s organized team activities (OTA), and he wasn’t present on Monday for the start of week 3 of Phase II.
Of course, OTAs are voluntary for players, so Sutton cannot be penalized for this.
Nonetheless, it would be quite beneficial for the team to have Sutton out there with Bo Nix, especially considering that they will have ten practices starting next week.
Sutton has two years left on his current contract.
Given Sutton’s production and the current state of the Broncos, they cannot afford to let this situation escalate any further, and it should be a matter of time before they get a deal done.
