Following their heartbreaking playoff loss to the Houston Texans, the Cleveland Browns cleaned house on the offensive side of their coaching staff.
Alex Van Pelt will no longer be with the team, which is not much of a surprise, considering the fact that Kevin Stefanski was in charge of offensive play-calling anyway.
With that in mind, the team has officially started it’s pursuit of a new OC.
According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, the Browns could turn to a familiar face for that role.
The Browns are interviewing Seahawks OL coach Andy Dickerson for their vacant offensive coordinator position, source says.

Apparently, they’ll interview Seattle Seahawks offensive line coach Andy Dickerson for the OC job opening.
Dickerson had been a part of Pete Carroll’s staff since 2021, first serving as a run game coordinator before moving on to his current position in 2022.
Notably, Dickerson actually started his career in the league as an assistant for the Browns between 2009 and 2010, so he’s quite familiar with the organization.
The Browns are also in the hunt for a running backs coach and a tights end coach after their major shake-up this season.
The team revamped their defense last offseason, and it paid off big time with Jim Schwartz leading the way.
Now, GM Andrew Berry wants to do the same on the other side of the field.
