During the 2023 NFL season, the Cleveland Browns had arguably one of the best defenses in the league, with superstar defensive end and eventual NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett leading the way for the franchise.
Although the Browns were able to get through the regular season with a revolving door at the quarterback position and a stout defense, the team couldn’t get the best of a young and motivated Houston Texans team led by rising star C.J. Stroud in the first round of the NFL playoffs.
The defense fell flat in the first round against this Texans team, as they gave up 45 points to Stroud and company, which was an embarrassing way for the season to come to an end.
With the Browns believing they have a potential title-contending team and their championship window still open, the team made a move on Thursday to address the defense as they landed a former rival in NFL free agency.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Browns have agreed to terms with former Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks linebacker Devin Bush on a one-year deal.

Although Bush is coming off a disappointing season with the Seahawks, during which he failed to make a considerable impact in Seattle, he might be able to get right back on track with a fresh start in the AFC North division, where he had all his success in the NFL.
In five seasons in the NFL, Bush has recorded two interceptions, 13 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, 4.0 sacks, one defensive touchdown, and 191 solo tackles.
