The Cleveland Browns are coming off a great season, all things considered.
Even despite losing Deshaun Watson to an injury midway through the campaign, they still managed to finish strong and make the playoffs.
Now, it seems like their franchise quarterback’s recovery is going right as scheduled.
There have been a couple of encouraging updates about his status, and GM Andrew Berry gave the media some positive news about him.
As shared by Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com on Twitter, Watson is reportedly throwing up to 40 yards with ease.

He’s been at the team’s voluntary offseason workouts, and his injured right shoulder seems to be progressing as expected.
Berry stated that Watson was in “a very good spot,” adding that he’s progressing as appropriate.
Watson has always been a gym rat and a hard-working player, and he recently admitted that he was struggling to resist the urge to just go out there and play, but he was going to continue to be patient and not rush the healing process to risk any setbacks.
The former Houston Texans star is fully expected to be ready to go for the first game of the regular season.
Barring any setbacks, that should continue to be the case.
This will be a crucial season for his career and his future with the Browns organization, as this will be his third season in town, and while his record has been positive, the fans still want to see more from their $230 million quarterback.
