One of the biggest stars in the NFL in Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb had his season cut short in 2023 due to a tough knee injury that he suffered early on in the year.
Browns GM Andrew Berry recently joined NFL Network’s The Insiders to chat about Chubb’s recovery and how he is progressing.
“What happened to Nick last year was very unfortunate…He’s the heartbeat and pulse of our team…One of the moments that we’re all most looking forward to is the first time he runs out of that home tunnel for his debut for the 2024 season,” Berry said.

Even though Berry didn’t give a direct timeline here, this is a positive update from him on Chubb.
After the star running back tore his knee up back in Week 2 of last year, he has been on the comeback trail.
The four-time Pro-Bowler could very well be considered the best running back in the AFC.
He has recorded at least 1,000 yards rushing in four of the last five seasons.
Additionally, he has put up 1,100 scrimmage yards each season except for 2023.
Now, coming off of a massive knee injury and as he enters his age-29 season, the hope is that Chubb can regain some of his old form before it is too late.
If the former Georgia Bulldog and second-round pick can come back and be his old self, the Browns can hang with anybody in the league.
