It’s the dawn of a new era for the Los Angeles Chargers.
With Jim Harbaugh arriving, chances are that they’re going to move on from several coaches and assistants as well.
That leaves the door wide open for the Cleveland Browns to make a run at offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.
According to Tom Pelissero, the Browns will meet with the former QB-turned-coach, who’s going to draw plenty of league-wide interest as well.
“The Browns requested an interview with Kellen Moore for their offensive coordinator job, and the Chargers are expected to let him speak to other teams, per sources,” Pelissero said.

Moore was one of the quickest risers in the assistant coach landscape in the league.
He did a solid job as the Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback coach and offensive coordinator before being shown the door by Mike McCarthy.
Moore was a bit of an afterthought for McCarthy, who chose to call the plays himself last season.
Despite their plethora of playmakers, the Chargers didn’t fare well on either side of the field last season, but a lot of that had to do with Brandon Staley’s coaching.
Moore is considered to be an innovative and aggressive play designer and play caller.
His pass-heavy style could be suited for Deshaun Watson’s skill set, although the Browns need to add more talent to the WR room in the offseason as well.
Kevin Stefanski would most likely have to give up play-calling duties to get Moore to sign with the Browns.
Whatever the case, it shouldn’t take long before Moore finds himself another job in the league.
