The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have a few interesting training camp battles this summer.
One of the positions that could be up for grabs might be punter.
According to FOX Sports reporter Greg Auman, Tampa Bay will have former Steelers punter Pressley Harvin III at their rookie minicamp next week.
If signed, he could very well push starter Jake Camarda for that role.
Bucs will have former Steelers punter Pressley Harvin III at their rookie minicamp next week as a tryout player. Harvin was Pittsburgh’s punter the last three years, and if signed, would compete with Jake Camarda, who reset team’s punt average record (50.1 yards) last season.

The 25-year-old Harvin spent the last three seasons in Pittsburgh punting for Mike Tomlin before being released in February.
The former seventh-round draft choice was an All-American and Ray Guy Award winner at Georgia Tech.
If anyone tells you that special teams is not important, they are lying.
Look at what Camarda did for the Bucs in 2023.
He set the franchise record for punting average last year (50.1) en route to helping the team make the playoffs and win a playoff game.
Bringing in Harvin is more about competition than anything else.
If he impresses at his tryout, then he will push Camarda for the starting role.
In the end, Tampa Bay and head coach Todd Bowles will benefit because the best player will start.
Camarda should have the advantage in that scenario considering he has spent the last two seasons with the Bucs after getting drafted in the fourth round in 2022 out of Georgia.
Familiarity is always an important factor in the NFL.
But, these two former college rivals could be fighting over one of the most important roster spots in the league in the coming months.
That is if Harvin has a successful tryout next week.
