Calais Campbell has been one of the most consistently productive defensive players in the NFL for well over a decade as he heads into his 17th season after signing with the Miami Dolphins.
The 6-time Pro Bowler appears to be excited to be back home in a recent video sharing his first message with Dolphins fans.
Campbell shared a quick video from the Dolphins practice facility to introduce himself to the fans and make the signing official, saying that he “can’t wait to get to work” and that there is only one job, which is to “bring home that Lombardi.”

After 16 years in the NFL, Campbell’s only trip to the Super Bowl came in 2008, his rookie year with the Arizona Cardinals when his team lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He has 15 playoff games and 0 playoff sacks under his belt, so he surely is hungry to get over the hump.
Campbell has played at least 12 games in each of his NFL seasons and amassed 105.5 career sacks, recording 56 tackles and 6.5 sacks in his lone season with the Atlanta Falcons last year.
Campbell joins a Dolphins defense in desperate need of some stability after losing defensive tackles Christian Wilkins and Raekwon Davis in free agency.
The team will need him to fill the void left by those two interior presences, especially Wilkins who has quickly become one of the best in the league and was rewarded with a 4-year, $110 million contract by the Las Vegas Raiders.
It’s great to see Campbell back for another year and hopefully, he can keep his production up for his new team.
