The one player that has everything to win and everything to lose heading into the Super Bowl next weekend at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.
Even though Purdy has done some incredible things in his short NFL career thus far and has already defied the odds as the last pick in the NFL Draft, he is still heavily criticized and doubted on a daily basis, with some still not sure he’s the real deal.
Despite having his fair share of haters and doubters, the 49ers’ rising star definitely has a lot of support from his teammates, peers, and some retired superstars like Calvin Johnson, who recently appeared on Robert Griffin III’s podcast.
“The situation ain’t too big for him,” Johnson said about Purdy. “The man is like, I ain’t gonna go too far to call him clutch, but the man has some clutch tendencies right now.”
Calvin Johnson believes no moment is too big for Brock Purdy and that Brock is the definition of a DIFFERENCE MAKER because every time he looks up Sturdy Purdy is MAKING A PLAY.

Heading into his first Super Bowl appearance, Purdy will have the tall task of trying to outplay one of the greatest quarterbacks in league history, with Patrick Mahomes looking to lead his Kansas City Chiefs to back-to-back titles and the third Vince Lombardi Trophy since he took over for Alex Smith.
It’ll be interesting to see how things unfold and whether Purdy is up to the task of leading his team to victory when the pressure is on in the big game.
