The Arizona Cardinals have been through a lot during the past several seasons.
After Kyler Murray’s rookie season, this team looked ready to set the league ablaze.
Despite Murray’s brilliance in his first few seasons under center, the Cardinals have only made the playoffs once during his tenure as their starter.
There have been some coaching miscues and injuries that have seemingly made it difficult for this team to gain much traction.
However, there is reason to believe that things are looking up for the Cardinals.
They hired Monti Ossenfort as their GM ahead of the 2023 season, and he has already gained a lot of respect and rapport within the organization.
Ossenfort recently appeared on the NFL Network, where he talked about the Cardinals, particularly, about Murray’s growth as a leader.
When talking about Murray’s leadership, Ossenfort said, “It’s been a role that he’s embraced and taken it and ran with it.”

Murray has had his fair share of injuries in recent seasons, but that hasn’t stopped him from growing and developing as a leader.
His teammates trust him to lead them on and off the field, which is positive for the team’s chances of success in 2024 and beyond.
Ossenfort has tried his best to improve the team around Murray, which includes their recent first-round draft pick, Marvin Harrison Jr.
Harrison Jr. is a highly touted receiver prospect, and if he lives up to the hype, this offense could get better very quickly, hopefully giving the Cardinals a chance to contend in the NFC West.
