The Dallas Cowboys will have a lot to prove in Week 16 as they try to bounce back from an embarrassing loss to the Buffalo Bills.
The Cowboys hit the road to play the Miami Dolphins, two teams who have both drawn criticism for their inability to beat good teams.
Both Dallas and Miami have been playing well offensively, so it’ll be interesting to see how the defenses hold up in one of the highest projected totals on the slate.
While the Dolphins have a pair of speedsters in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, the Cowboys have CeeDee Lamb who’s been on a tear and shows no signs of slowing down.
Miami’s got a good coverage unit, but Lamb’s been able to get himself open no matter what kind of defense he’s looking at.
There could be extra motivation for the star wideout on Sunday as he inches closer to breaking a franchise record via Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.
“Ceedee Lamb is 9 catches away from breaking Michael Irvin’s Cowboys single-season reception record & huge element to watch today will be how the Dolphins defend playmaking Lamb out of the slot,” Wolfe reported.

Lamb currently sits at 103 receptions on the season and should either get close to Michael Irvin’s 111 receptions or outright break it against the Dolphins.
The wideout will likely see a heavy dose of Jalen Ramsey in coverage, though the Dolphins will likely look to mix up their looks against Lamb.
It should be a fun battle between two of the best players at their respective positions, and it could very well decide the victor of the game.
