The Chicago Bears have been at the forefront of many conversations throughout the NFL offseason.
Fans and analysts alike have wondered what the team is going to do at quarterback in 2024.
They currently have the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, leaving their options wide option.
With the No. 1 pick in hand, many believe the Bears are gearing up to trade Justin Fields, especially since he has recently unfollowed the Bears on social media.
Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson recently talked about this on their “Nightcap” podcast.
Johnson said that Fields is “saying all the right things,” but deep down, he knows that this situation is bothering him.
To Johnson, unfollowing the team is a smart move for Fields.

This is an opportunity for him to disconnect from all of the noise, and to try and focus on himself ahead of the new year.
Ultimately, Fields has to do what is best for him at this time.
If the Bears want to move on from him, there’s nothing he can do about it at this time.
He has already played out the 2023 season, and while it might not have been a statistically remarkable year, he did his best, especially after returning from injury.
What happens next is out of his control.
From the Bears’ perspective, it might be too tempting to not draft a player like Caleb Williams, especially since he is regarded as one of the best quarterback prospects in recent history.
Will they pass him up to keep Fields around?
