Chase Claypool’s tenure with the Chicago Bears was very disappointing.
The Bears hoped he’d become Justin Fields’ WR1 when they acquired him mid-season last year, but that was never the case.
There were some reports about Claypool’s allegedly poor work ethic, and his injuries also prevented him from being at his best.
However, the straw that broke the camel’s back were his comments on coaching, as the former Pittsburgh Steelers draft pick bashed Matt Eberflus and his staff for the way they used him and how the offense struggled.
Eberflus chose to deactivate him and send him to the Miami Dolphins, where he expects to take his career back from the ground.
When asked about his days in the Windy City, the Canadian wideout took yet another shot at the Bears organization, stating that it’s obvious that the players will be frustrated after losing so many games, although that could be new for everybody in the organization (via Josh Schrock).

Claypool talked about his excitement for joining a team that’s playing winning football games.
The Dolphins seemed like a natural fit for the Notre Dame product.
He’s big, athletic, and, above all things, fast.
He’ll now compete for targets with the likes of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and if that doesn’t force him to put in more effort and bring in his A-game, then nothing will.
His physical traits are remarkable, but there have been plenty of reports about his lack of maturity, so it’ll be up to him to show how badly he wants it — or not.
