The Kansas City Chiefs made a questionable move before the start of last season to trade superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins because the two sides couldn’t see eye-to-eye on a contract extension.
Initially, the move was thought to be costly for the Chiefs, with Hill being arguably the best wide receiver in the game and superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target downfield.
Fortunately for Kansas City, the absence of Hill didn’t impact the team, as Andy Reid’s squad was able to go on to win a second Super Bowl title in the Mahomes era.
However, the 2023 campaign has been a different story, with the Chiefs struggling to be the same dominant force of old without the usual weapons in the receiving corps.
With the Chiefs sorely lacking at the wide receiver position, it has become a hot topic of discussion, and arguably the team’s biggest problem, but wideout Justin Watson claims things have been different in the wide receiver room this week, via Aaron Ladd of KSHB 41 News.

In Week 15, the Chiefs will go on the road after the disappointing and controversial loss to the Buffalo Bills last week at home to face the lowly New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
Fortunately for Kansas City, the matchup with the Patriots should be an easy one, with New England struggling all season long with only three wins to Bill Belichick’s credit in 2023.
Although it should be an easy win for the Chiefs, it seems as though nothing has been easy for this team this year.
