You can count on fierce battles in the American Football Conference (AFC) every NFL season.
That’s what you get when you have talented quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, and Joe Burrow, to name a few, on one side of the conference.
It’s also unsurprising that only two AFC teams are left undefeated two weeks into the 2023 season.
Of those two franchises, Chris Broussard is impressed with one of them.
“The Ravens offense is going to get a lot better. You can count on the run game. You can count on the defense. And you can count on a dynamic QB in Lamar,” Broussard shared in a recent episode of FS1’s First Things First.

The Baltimore Ravens remain unscathed after defeating the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals in consecutive weeks.
They established their running game against Houston, gaining 110 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
Against the Bengals, they finished with 178 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Aside from their running game, the Ravens also have stars like Mark Andrews and rookie Zay Flowers in their passing game.
Finally, Lamar Jackson is completing 74.5 percent of his passes for 406 yards and two touchdowns in two games.
Baltimore isn’t a one-trick pony because their defense has registered 15 quarterback hits, six sacks, and an interception.
The Ravens are sticking to the elements that help them win football games.
But can they sustain this formula throughout the season?
Jackson’s health will always be the primary key to their success.
If he remains injury-free, Baltimore always has a shot to win every game.
