Patrick Mahomes is rapidly rising up the ladder of NFL history, and he is now the owner of three Super Bowl championships after his Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers by a final of 25-22 in overtime on Sunday.
Yet again, the Chiefs trailed by 10 points, and at one point on Sunday, they looked flustered, but they made big plays on both sides of the football and had a little bit of luck on their side.
Mahomes must now be talked about in historic terms, as many feel he is now one of the three greatest quarterbacks in football history.
In fact, Chris Russo, the former co-host of the “Mike and the Mad Dog” radio show in the New York City media market, said on “The Dan Patrick Show” that Mahomes is the best QB he’s ever seen.
“He’s the best quarterback I’ve ever seen, and that includes Brady,” Russo said.
“He’s the best Quarterback I’ve ever seen, and that includes Brady. That doesn’t mean he’s had a better career than Brady, 7 titles, but as far as just playing the game, I’m taking nobody but him.. That includes Montana, Unitas.. you name it.

Most would agree that Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback in NFL history, and right behind him is Joe Montana, who led the 49ers to four world championships in the 1980s and never lost or even threw an interception in the Super Bowl.
However, Mahomes appears more gifted than Brady or Montana, both in terms of his passing ability and physical talents.
In the end, the greatest of all-time discussion comes down to actual accomplishments rather than pure ability or even production, but Mahomes is on his way to at least equaling Brady’s accomplishments.
He’s just 28 and also has three Super Bowl MVPs and two regular-season MVPs, and he seems to be early in his prime.
