There has been a ton of back-and-forth over the past few months over who the best wide receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft class is.
For over a year, fans have been hearing about what a perfect prospect Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. is, but according to some media members and scouts, he has been overtaken just before the draft.
Analyst and former NFL QB Chris Simms responded to a tweet asking, “Marvin Harrison Jr. is the best WR prospect since (blank),” and responded, “Malik Nabers.”

Both players might wind up being picked in the top five, but there is real debate now about which player is going first.
Harrison has been mocked at No. 4 to the Arizona Cardinals for a while, with the first three picks believed to be all quarterbacks, while Nabers has been in play at picks five or six to the Los Angeles Chargers or New York Giants.
Nabers made this a discussion due to his recent performance over the past couple of months during his NFL Combine and Pro Day performances, where he showed off a 4.35 40-yard dash and 42-inch vertical.
Harrison is seen as having the higher floor, but also potentially the lower ceiling due to Nabers’ explosiveness with the ball in his hands.
What Harrison has in his bloodline, Nabers makes up for with his game-breaking ability.
You likely can’t go wrong either way, but Simms’ hot take isn’t as controversial as it would have been a few months ago.
