After losing three straight games before heading into their bye week, the San Francisco 49ers seemed like a mess, with a lot of injuries to key players impacting the way they play, especially on the offensive side of the football.
Fortunately for San Francisco, the bye week couldn’t have come at a better time for the storied franchise, as they were able to take a breather and get healthy before taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road in Week 10.
Sunday’s showdown with the Jaguars was a statement game for the 49ers, as it would prove whether this team is a true contender in the NFC, and that’s precisely what they were able to do in Jacksonville with a dominant performance.
Unfortunately, Christian McCaffrey saw his touchdown streak come to an end, with the superstar running back failing to reach the end zone, keeping his number at 17 straight games with a touchdown.
After the game, McCaffrey was asked about coming up short of breaking the NFL record and took a shot at himself for being unable to score against the Jaguars via Coach Yac.

Even though McCaffrey looks disappointed that he was unable to break the record held by Lenny Moore, he’s clearly happy the team’s three-game losing streak was able to come to an end while the offense was able to get back to its dominant ways.
With the 49ers getting back in the win column, the team will focus on keeping it going in Week 11 against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are in a three-team race for the NFC South division title.
