The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a huge loss this past week to the San Francisco 49ers, 41-19.
The game could ultimately decide the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
And things don’t get much better this week for the Eagles, who face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14 with the NFC East on the line.
The winner of that game could alter the NFC playoff standings completely.
While the Eagles still have the best record in the NFL at 10-2, they’ve skated by their past couple of wins.
They beat the Buffalo Bills by three points in overtime, the Kansas City Chiefs by four points, and the Cowboys by five points in Week 9.
However, Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd isn’t worried about the Eagles after their big loss.
He thinks they’ll even bounce back and grab a huge win this week.
“Philadelphia is going to be just fine. I like them to beat the Cowboys this weekend.”

The points Cowherd makes are simple: While the Eagles aren’t as dominant as they were in 2022, they still won and beat some of the best teams in the NFL prior to the loss to the 49ers.
And those matchups left Philadelphia exhausted – mentally and physically – before they faced a well-rested and revenge-minded 49ers squad less than a year after an emotional NFC title game.
So while some are ready to write off the Super Bowl runner-ups, Cowherd is ready to double down.
He went on to reference how the past three Super Bowl champions – the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, and the Chiefs in 2022 – all suffered grueling losses near the end of their respective seasons before going on a tear in the postseason to take home the Lombardi Trophy.
The Eagles aren’t done just yet.
