If there was any doubt about who should start at quarterback for the Tennessee Titans going forward, the last five days may have changed that.
Rookie QB Will Levis has done an outstanding job of leading the offense, especially when compared to what Ryan Tannehill was doing.
That’s why, even though he couldn’t cap things off by beating the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road, NFL analyst Colin Cowherd believes there should be no debate about the starting QB in Nashville anymore (via The Volume).

Cowherd stated that he sees something special in Levis, praising him for the confidence he plays with and for his strong arm and urging the Titans to give him some help.
Notably, Levis has looked more than ready in his first two career starts, and that’s despite having a depleted offensive line that crumbled under pressure on almost every drop-back.
Despite being out there for just two games, he’s got almost half of Tannehill’s passing yards for the season (500 to 1,128).
He also has twice as many touchdowns (4) despite not throwing for one in his second career start.
The Titans didn’t hesitate to take Levis after he shockingly slipped all the way to the second round.
But he was projected to go as high as No. 4 in some mock drafts, and we’re starting to see why.
The Titans won’t win a lot of games this season with or without him, so they might as well just give him a long leash and let him learn and grow through his mistakes.
