Praise for Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love hasn’t stopped in the hours after he demolished the Dallas Cowboys defense in the huge Wild Card win Sunday night.
Love proved to doubters why he was chosen to be Aaron Rodgers’ replacement with his command of the offense, poise in the pocket, and lack of turnovers in the 48-32 win.
The turnaround didn’t happen overnight, though, as a few bad games earlier this year made some question Love’s ability to become the Packers’ franchise quarterback.
But since the team’s Week 6 bye, Colin Cowherd said he believes Love transformed into a bona fide star.
“I’ve never seen, in my life, an in-season improvement of a quarterback ever like Jordan Love,” Cowherd said. “… Athleticism. Confidence. Accuracy. That bye-week renovation is unbelievable. … I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Love finished the year with six wins in the team’s final eight games to secure the No. 7 seed for the Packers after a rough start to the season, and put the task on his own shoulders rather than relying on a stout defense or collection of skill position players that could make plays from anywhere on the field.
Instead, Love orchestrated most if not all of the Packers’ victories with the support of head coach Matt LaFleur’s offensive gameplan.
Up next is a road matchup with the No. 1 team in the NFC – the San Francisco 49ers – in what will be Love’s greatest test as the Packers’ starting quarterback.
But if the win over the Cowboys has proven anything it’s that Love is up to the task.
