The first thing that pundits do after a draft selection is discuss how good a particular player will be with their new team.
FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd had his take on which three players from round one of the NFL Draft will not end up as busts.
“One of them is Caleb Williams…I just can’t see it missing. Marvin Harrison of the Cardinals…I think he’s the best receiver probably since Calvin Johnson in the draft…And Joe Alt…6-8, 320, one sack allowed all season. I don’t see a miss there,” Cowherd said on “The Herd” Friday.

These are three of the best overall players coming into the league, so it’s not like Cowherd was going out on a limb by saying this.
Williams won the Heisman Trophy while at USC and has a lot of great pieces around him in Chicago.
Those include receivers Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, and Rome Odunze, running back D’Andre Swift, and tight end Cole Kmet.
Harrison has his dad’s genes.
Plus, Kyler Murray already has experience throwing to great receivers in Larry Fitzgerald and DeAndre Hopkins.
Alt went to play for a great coach in Jim Harbaugh, who has experience churning out great offensive lines both at Michigan and in San Francisco with the 49ers.
He’s a big, productive player that should be big-time while protecting quarterback Justin Herbert.
These are three great players that should be fantastic at the next level.
If they turned into busts, it would be a true stunner to everyone who knows the NFL.
