The Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers made what could end up being a big transaction.
Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan sent the Bears a conditional sixth-round pick that could become a fourth-round pick depending on playing time, and they got Justin Fields in return.
Considering that, sports analyst Colin Cowherd claimed this was actually a very good move for both parties (via The Volume).

Cowherd explained that the Bears felt like they needed to move on from a “declining asset,” which is why they settled for so little in return for Fields.
This way, they get to focus solely on developing Caleb Williams, who’s the better prospect, and is going to be much cheaper, which will allow the Bears to keep building around him for a little longer.
The Steelers, on the other hand, get a young quarterback with a high upside who has already proven that he’s talented enough to be at least considered as a starter.
And while Russell Wilson should win the starting job, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Fields taking over for him at some point, especially if he struggles early in the year.
This QB competition may actually going to be beneficial for both of them, as they will both have huge chips on their shoulders to prove that they belong in this league.
