It’s the dawn of a new era for the Washington Commanders.
And while some fans and analysts are still cautious and not very sold on what’s to come for them, they continue to shape their roster ahead of a potential breakout season.
So, with the NFL Draft already in the books, they’ve decided to part ways with three players ahead of this weekend’s rookie minicamp.
As reported by Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk, the team announced that they released CB D’Angelo Mandell, LB Brandon Bouyer-Randle, and DE Joshua Pryor from their 90-man roster.

Of course, this shouldn’t make much of a difference for them, as Pryor was the only player who made an appearance for them in the past, logging one tackle in seven games last season.
Mandell signed with them earlier in the year, while Bouyer-Randle was signed to their practice squad last November after being undrafted out of UConn.
They will also try out some players at the rookie minicamp, so we should expect them to keep parting ways with some players and making more roster moves in the days to come.
As of now, they’re still projected to finish the season with the worst record in the NFC East Division, but the fans should still be excited about Jayden Daniels and walking the first steps in the right direction.
