The Dallas Cowboys are on the shortlist of teams that can win the NFC this year.
They have a strong roster and a good coaching staff that is more than capable of going deep in the playoffs.
But, one spot where they lack compared to other contenders is the front office.
It seems like the Cowboys front office, led by Jerry Jones, is not aggressive enough to improve their roster.
It is not crazy to say both the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles have better rosters than Dallas.
Yet, both of those teams improved at the trade deadline while the Cowboys did nothing.
Cowboys legend Michael Irvin went on “Undisputed” to discuss the trade deadline.
He said: “For Dallas not to have picked up anyone bothers me.”

Irvin mentioned how the Eagles traded for safety Kevin Byard and the 49ers landed star pass rusher Chase Young.
You can bet both of those players will play significant roles for their new teams.
The Cowboys had a few holes of their own they needed to fill.
Adding another offensive lineman, cornerback, or linebacker would have been nice.
Instead, their front office continues to value their players over what they could get on the trade market.
Every Cowboys fan just wants to see their team succeed and get back to at least the NFC title game.
They have a strong enough roster to get them there this year.
But, it sure would have been nice to improve any of their weaknesses before the trade deadline.
