The Dallas Cowboys have several needs to address right now.
Needless to say, the running back position seems to be the most urgent at the moment.
They let Tony Pollard walk away after a disappointing season, and he signed with the Tennessee Titans.
Now, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that they could look to make a run at former Green Bay Packers RB AJ Dillon.
As the #Packers have rebuilt their RB room, free agent RB AJ Dillon has several options outside GB, with sources say he’s looking at the #Giants, #Colts and #Cowboys.

He adds that the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants could also be in play for him.
Truth be told, that wouldn’t be much of an upgrade in Arlington — all due respect to Dillon.
He’s a solid change-of-pace back who could contribute in the two-minute offense, third downs, and the passing game, but not much more at this point in his career.
The Cowboys were supposed to go all-in in the offseason, but they have yet to make a significant move.
They had a chance to negotiate with Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, Aaron Jones, Austin Ekeler, Derrick Henry, D’Andre Swift, and even Pollard.
They could’ve also looked to trade for Joe Mixon, who was sent to the Houston Texans shortly after it seemed like he was going to be released.
The Cowboys have watched all of their divisional rivals get better, and the clock seems to be ticking on them, as most of the top-notch players are already off the table.
That doesn’t bode well for a team that needed to make a big splash to put last season’s heartbreaking end in the rearview mirror.
