The Miami Dolphins had looked great against subpar teams but not so much against actual contenders.
That had been the knock on them throughout the course of the entire season, and watching them lose at home to the Tennessee Titans was a major disappointment.
That’s why that game vs. the Dallas Cowboys meant so much.
They needed to beat one of the best teams in the league and protect their home to show that they could contend, not to mention the fact that they needed to keep the Buffalo Bills behind in the race for the AFC East.
“The Miami Dolphins got their signature win last weekend against the Dallas Cowboys. The Dolphins are for real.”

And now that they’ve got the job done, NFL analyst Craig Carton believes this team has finally proven that they’re for real.
In the latest edition of The Carton Show, he praised HC Mike McDaniel for the way he got his team ready to play and for his attitude, adding that the Dolphins are ‘for real.’
Carton claimed that we have never seen a player who’s open 24-7 like Tyreek Hill, adding that Tua Tagovailoa also deserves plenty of credit for making every single play and throw he needed to make to get the job done and seal the win.
The Dolphins have been somewhat polarizing for most of the season.
But their offensive success is by no means a fluke.
Now, it’s all about proving themselves in the playoffs, and they’re not the kind of team you want to meet in a win-or-go-home scenario.
