The 2024 NFL season is just around the corner.
In the meantime, the players will look to stay in shape and work out to be ready for the start of the campaign.
With that in mind, Seattle Seahawks star DK Metcalf pulled up to the basketball court to shoot some hoops and showcase his skills.
The clip shared by The Basketball Tribune on Instagram quickly went viral, re-igniting the debate about whether football players could play basketball and vice versa (via Overtime).

Recently, Austin Rivers went viral for stating that he could find 30 NBA players who could make it to the NFL, but not 30 NFL players who could make it to the NBA.
Of course, it’s one thing to excel in an open gym run and a completely different thing to actually play in the NBA, but athletic traits translate to other sports.
Metcalf is a privileged athlete who has proved to excel at multiple sports, but at the end of the day, football is his bread and butter and his livelihood.
The Seahawks have a solid three-headed monster in their wide receivers corps.
Tyler Lockett gives them speed, Metcalf gives them acceleration and strength, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the Jack of all trades.
Geno Smith has more than enough weapons at his disposal, and it’ll be interesting to see whether they can keep up with the San Francisco 49ers — and perhaps even the Los Angeles Rams — in the race for the NFC West.
Until then, Metcalf will continue to hoop.
