Heading into Week 9 of the 2023 NFL season, the most anticipated game of the week will be the Dallas Cowboys hitting the road to face the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
It will be a battle between NFC heavyweights, with the Eagles hoping to prove they are the team to beat moving forward, while the Cowboys want some bragging rights and the distinction as a legitimate Super Bowl title contender.
Along with the usual storylines heading into this NFC East showdown in Philadelphia, Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott talked about why he likes playing on the road in the hostile environment of Philadelphia, which most opposing players despise.
According to Jon Machota of The Athletic, Prescott claims he loves the atmosphere in Philadelphia, even though Eagles fans are notorious for being nasty to opponents and never hold back in their efforts to try to make players uncomfortable.

With the Eagles currently sporting the best record in the league at 7-1 and being arguably the best team in the league at the moment, the environment in Philadelphia on Sunday will be that much more hostile, as fans of the franchise know what’s at stake with their team potentially in the running to go the distance.
As for the Cowboys, this will be another statement game for America’s Team, as Dallas will look to avenge the costly loss to the San Francisco 49ers a few weeks ago by getting the best of their division rivals and putting the league on notice as a result.
