The Dallas Cowboys seem to be on a roll.
Despite the widespread doubts about this team heading into the year, Dak Prescott’s Cowboys seem to be the team to beat in the NFC.
The Cowboys are coming off a dominant win over the Philadelphia Eagles, a game that was expected to be much closer than the final score reflected.
While the Cowboys scored 33 points in this game, beating the Eagles by 20, it didn’t seem enough, at least in Prescott’s eyes.
As Dov Kleiman highlighted, Prescott shared that this was not his best game.
“If I play my best game, we were putting a 50 up there,” Prescott said.

In his mind, the Cowboys could have scored 50 points in this game had everything gone his way.
Prescott’s current attitude is more confident, at least publically than he has been in quite some time.
Many analysts have noted that he is playing at an MVP-caliber pace.
Prescott has accounted for 25 touchdowns and two interceptions over his past eight games, a pace the team hopes he can continue.
With this confidence in mind, Prescott and the Cowboys are on a roll, looking to the rest of the season confidently.
They will need to keep their wits about them in the coming weeks, as their upcoming opponents will continue to test them.
The Eagles were viewed as the NFC’s top team, and for the Cowboys to beat them meant a lot, especially when considering playoff positioning.
However, this was the first of many hurdles that will stand in their way.
The Cowboys’ next three opponents are playoff contenders, and if they want to acquire a first-round bye in the playoffs, they will need to keep up this strong play against them.
