The Miami Dolphins have plenty of confidence in Tua Tagovailoa.
They’ve stuck with him through thick and thin, shutting down all the outside criticism and doubling down on their commitment to him as their franchise quarterback.
Notably, he has Dan Marino’s blessing, and that’s all that should matter to their fans.
Talking to Adam Schein on Mad Dog Sports Radio, the legendary quarterback claimed that he thinks the Dolphins can win a Super Bowl with Tua as their quarterback.
“He just needs to continue to grow and I think he has done that,” Marino said.

When asked what he needed to take that next step, Marino claimed that all he needs to do was to keep growing and learning, which is something he’s done every single season.
Marino pointed out the fact that Tua is coming off the best season of his career, adding that while he didn’t want to make up excuses for him, the team struggled with injuries late in the season.
For the former quarterback, the Dolphins need to make sure to put the right people around Tua and also get healthy, and he has the utmost confidence in his ability to get the job done.
Tua’s numbers were remarkable last season.
He wasn’t just checking the football down to Tyreek Hill or Jaylen Waddle; he was fitting the football into tight gaps and letting it rip with deep throws.
His number against winning teams and in the cold will continue to be a bit of a question mark, but he’s gotten better at almost every single thing in every year he’s been in the league, so there are reasons to be optimistic about his future.
