Bill Belichick’s name has come up in conversation over the past several weeks.
Many fans and analysts have said that he is on the hot seat and would likely be released after the 2023 NFL Season.
There are recent reports that Belichick will be removed from his post when the year is done.
While Belichick might not be a coach for the New England Patriots after this season, there is a growing belief that he isn’t going to retire immediately.
In a recent segment of Jones & Mego with Arcand, Dan Orlovsky said, “He’s a coach that you can win a Super Bowl with, still.”

Orlovsky pointed to Belichick’s career history to support his argument.
While the New England Patriots haven’t necessarily had their most successful season this year, the team is in a difficult situation.
The Patriots have struggled to find consistency at the quarterback position since Tom Brady’s departure, a point of contention throughout the league.
While quarterback is only one role on an NFL roster, most people would agree that it is among the most important.
Without a consistent quarterback, it is difficult for the Patriots’ offense to click to their fullest potential, putting themselves in their current position.
Belichick has been involved with this team for so many years it might be in the interest of both parties for him to move on.
Several teams will be in need of a head coach in 2024, and if Belichick hasn’t retired, his name will continue to populate as a top candidate.
